Many people these days are more involved in fitness and well being than ever before. More and more, both men and women are going to the gym more regularly, eating more healthily and are in or around their target weight.
However for some people, it can be difficult to shift that extra little bit of fat. For women it might be as a result of weight gained during pregnancy, leaving them with a “Mummy Tummy”, or the area around their hips or thighs. Endless HIIT classes just can’t seem to make a dent in those stubborn little areas of fat, particularly around the tummy and thigh areas.
Well, Cryosculpt can help.
Cryolipolysis, or fat freezing, can target those problem areas in a safe, non-invasive manner with a procedure you can have during your lunchtime if you wish. (although lunchtime slots can be difficult to get, if you don’t book well in advance!).
What is cryolipolysis?
Cryolipolysis, is not a new technique, it’s been around for over 10 years and is FDA approved but is only now gaining real popularity. A lot of this has been because of the lack of availability of the procedure and also the prohibitive price (in many cases it still is…until now).
The results have been impressive, with verified fat loss of 23% – 30% in the treated areas, which is pretty impressive for a non-invasive, non-surgical, 30 minute treatment, requiring no anaesthesia.
The procedure involves painlessly and safely, freezing fat cell to -7 to -9 degrees until they crystallise and die. One a fat cell is dead, it can never come back. The fat cells are then flushed out of the body through the Lymphatic System over a period of time. Results can usually start to be seen and felt at 4 weeks after treatment with final results at 12 weeks or longer.
When you have a consultation with us, we take photos and measurements of the areas to be treated, this way we can monitor the true results. Because the process can take up to 12 weeks to see final results, some people don’t notice the extent of the changes until they compare their photos and measurements.
Our fat freezing procedure also works very well with our Ultrasound Cavitation treatment which uses ultrasound to break up the crystallised fat cells. Sometimes the results with this dual procedure can be seen instant!y.
What about ultrasound cavitation?
The Ultrasound Cavitation is also a great treatment for cellulite. Both treatment can be used on tummy, flanks, inner and outer thighs, arms, chins and Knees!
Our new Cryolipolysis machine is brand new from the UK and is CE and ISO certified.
Our therapists are also fully trained, certified and insured (and lovely).
