What is cryolipolysis?
If you can pinch it, we can freeze it!
Cryolipolysis is basically a fancy name for Fat Freezing. Fat Freezing is a non-invasive, non-surgical fat reducing treatment, which uses controlled cooling to eliminate the stubborn areas of fat that you just can’t target with diet and exercise.
The technology behind Cryolipolysis was developed by dermatologists at Harvard
Medical School who noticed that kids who sucked on popsicles, developed dimples. This led them to investigate and discover that the reason for this was the cold temperatures in the popsicles was literally freezing the fat in the cheeks – hence dimples!
They realized also that Fat cells crystallise at different temperatures than to other cells. Cryolipolysis specifically targets fat cells while sparing without damaging any other tissue such as the skin, muscle mass and nerve fibres.
Cryolipolysis is FDA approved, delivering safe, proven and long-lasting results.

Consultation and Treatment?
We offer an initial - free consultation. We’ll sit down with you and discuss your goals and expectations and put together a realistic plan, tailored specifically for you.
On The Day
You can book your consultation and treatment together or separately. We’ll devise a treatment plan for you and agree with you how many applications you will have that day. Consultation takes about 30 minutes and the treatment itself also takes 30 minutes. Because we have dual applicators we can treat two areas simultaneously.
Once the treatment cycle is complete, the applicator will be removed and your therapist will perform a two- minute massage on the treated area(s).
What areas can I treat with cryolipolysis?
Our general rule is - “If you can pinch it, we can freeze it”.
We find we get excellent results in the following areas:

Abdomen

Flanks and Love Handles

Banana Roll

Double Chin

Bra Bulge and Back Fat

Male Chest

Inner and Outer Thighs

Arms

Knees

and more!
Many of us have stubborn fat despite diet and exercise. CoolSculpting technology uses controlled cooling to target and kill only these fat cells. In the weeks to follow, your body naturally processes the fat and eliminates these dead cells. The Cryolipolysis procedure results are long-term, as treated fat cells are gone for good.
What does it feel like?
Usually, at the beginning of the treatment, the sensation of the treated area being ‘sucked’ into the vacuum applicator can feel a little unusual. But it’s not uncomfortable.
You’ll feel a cold sensation on the area and it will start to feel numb, again this is not too uncomfortable. After about 5 minutes the area will feel pretty numb. Most people find the treatment quite a comfortable and relaxing experience. Many people read, check email, or catch up on their Netflix!
What happens after a session?
You will probably experience some redness on the treated area, but this should subside within a few hours. In some cases, there may be mild bruising and tenderness for up to 2 weeks post-treatment. The treated area might still feel a little numb for a few weeks after treatment.
How many cryolipolysis sessions do I need?
This varies from client to client and will depend on the area to be treated as well as your desired results. Many people feel they’re happy with their results after one session, but we find
1 – 3 sessions is normal.
Results
Cryolipolysis kills 20 – 30% of fat cells in the treated area. Once fat cells are frozen and crystalised they are dead and can never return. However, the remaining fat cells can always increase in size, so it’s important to maintain a healthy lifestyle and diet to get the maximum results. It’s also important not to view Cryolipolysis as a weight loss tool - it’s a body sculpting and fat loss treatment!
